Happy Thanksgiving and catching up...

Hey Y'all,

Happy Thanksgiving!

To my new followers, thanks for following! Please feel free to comment. (I have lost a lot of commentators recently because I haven't been blogging much. But I am trying to post more often!)

I am trying to catch up on my posts. There will be the Prarie party pictures and Thanksgiving pictures coming, soon I hope.

Okay, so below, I have Quirky Thursdays, which my friend Marissa hosts and I am participating in for the first time; an award from Antonia; and Hawg fest pictures. Enjoy!

Quirky Thursday

What are 6 things YOU are Thankful for this year?

1. My faith in Jesus Christ!

2. My family.

3. All the opportunities I have had to perform music with my sister.

4. That we got to see some of our family in Nebraska this past summer.

5. Living on a farm-in-the-workings.

6. That Marissa is coming to visit!
Thank you so much, Antonia, for this award. I absolutely love your blog. I think you are a very creative person and I admire you for learning English so well and starting a blog in that language. ^_^

Rules:
1. Do a post about the person who awarded you, and their blog.
2. Give the award to 5 of your favorite blogs, give a reason, and leave a comment telling them they have been awarded.
3. Answer the 10 random questions.
4. Have Fun!

1. Stephanie, my sister, because she is usually just a plain good ol' blogger. =)

2. Marissa, my friend, for having a fun, interactive blog.

3. Sarah, my cousin, who has and eye for pretty designs. =D

4. Madison from Madison's Musing for great posts!

5. And Jo from Jo-With-Its Portfolio for her wonderful creativity!

1. Have you ever ridden an elephant?
Yes, when I was two; but I barely remember it.

2. Have you ever eaten squid?
No! I would only do that if I were in another country where they considered it as a delicacy and would be offended if I didn't.

3. What is something crazy you have done with your best friend?

4. Have you ever held an alligator?

No.

5. Have you ever let a snake slither through your fingers?
yes.

6. What is your first and foremost dream in life?
To become a godly woman.

7. What is your dream vacation?
To go to Scotland!

8. What is the funniest movie you have ever seen?
My Fair Lady

9. What is your favorite song?
I don't have one.

10. If you could change the world in one way, what would you do?
I really don't know. I would have everyone be saved, but only God can do that, not me. I don't know if that really answers the question. hmmm...?

Hawg Fest Pictures

Here are the Hawg Fest pictures from a few weeks ago. They are not in order, sorry, because I uploaded them out of order and blogger wouldn't let me drag them around. So, the order of events was games, facepainting, fiddlin', then dancin'.

here are some pictures from our vacation to Cape San Blas this past October. (FINALLY!)

We found a TON of jelly fish washed on shore.

Looks like he is ready to take some beach photos!

Stay tuned!

Hey Y'all!

I am still a blogger, so don't give up on me! After this week, things should start to slow down and I'll get some pictures up. ^_^ Pictures are coming from our vacation (a month late), the annual "Hawg Fest" that my church held last week, and our choir concert/prairie party today.

Stay tuned,

Sydney Rae
